John Conte - Treasurer
Financial management consultant to not-for-profit organizations.  Former general manager Hartford Stage and Long Wharf Theatre. Lectured and consulted several years for the Connecticut Commission on the Arts and FEDAPT (the Foundation for the Extension and Development of the American Professional Theatre).  Former faculty member Yale University School of Drama.

Hyla F. Crane - Secretary
Director of Education, Stepping Stones Museum for Children.  Former Tri-State Program Director, Prevent Blindness Tri-State. Former Education Coordinator, Westport Country Playhouse, Westport, CT.

William E. Curran Retired Senior Partner at Halsey Associates, a premier investment advisory firm. Board memberships have included Long Wharf Theatre, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Habitat for Humanity, Dwight Hall at Yale. The director of the Elmina B. Sewell foundation from its inception twenty three years ago, with current annual grants of ten million dollars. Currently a Board member and Treasurer.

Donald Margulies - Honorary Trustee
2000 Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright. Mr.Margulies currently has his award winning play Dinner with Friends playing at the Variety Arts in New York and other works playing in London. Involved with promotion of the arts to inner city youth.

Dr. Jerome H. Meyer - Honorary Trustee
Practicing psychoanalyst, community activist and children's advocate. Founding Board member of LEAP and Chairman of Development for LEAP. President, Long Wharf Theatre Board of Directors.

David I. Newton
David is President of Elm Advisors, LLC-a real estate development and consulting firm in New Haven. Prior to founding Elm Advisors, he served as the Associate Vice President and Director of University Properties at Yale University. He is active in the New Haven community serving as President of the Committee of Trustees at the Hopkins School, Trustee of the Long Wharf Theatre, and member of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven, as well as the Festival of Arts and Ideas and the New Haven Road Race.

Mary Pepe
Former Vice President of Operations at the Regional Water Authority in New Haven. In addition to being on the board of Elm Shakespeare, Mary is Chair of the Board of Long Wharf Theatre and a member of the Board of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. She is an associate fellow of Calhoun College of Yale University and is a former Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.

Jennifer Spinach Schiavone

Founder and President of Partnership for Connecticut Cities and the Center for Nonprofit Strategies, Inc. and formerly a partner at the law firm Wiggin and Dana. Former Chairman of the Board of the University of New Haven and Immediate Past President of the New Haven Arts Council. Mr. Tyler is past Chairman of the Schubert performing Arts Center, The Community Foundation of Greater New Haven, The United Way of Greater New Haven and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.

Jim Wright - Senior Director of Development, Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH).With more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising and non-profit management, Jim leads major gift initiatives at YNHH and manages the Hospital’s Planned Giving, Special Events, Foundation and Corporate Relations and Development Services activities.  Prior to his work at YNHH, Jim has spent 20 years as chief fundraising officer in a variety of non-profit organizations in Connecticut and New York.  Among his significant previous positions, Jim served as Director of Development for the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the nation’s fourth-oldest symphony orchestra and has led Development efforts at LMG Programs, Inc., Connecticut’s largest provider of substance abuse treatment and prevention; and The Committee for Economic Development (CED), a national public policy organization.    Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Toledo and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from Brooklyn College (CUNY).
