Directions & Parking
Edgerton Park is located at 75 Cliff Street, New Haven.
All performance will be on the Great Lawn in the Center of Edgerton Park.
There are 3 entrances to the park:
- Edgehill Rd, Opposite Edgehill Terrace
- Corner of Cliff Street & Edgehill Road
- Corner of Whitney Ave. & Cliff Street (this is the longest walk!)
Parking is along the streets around the park. Please do not drive into the park unless you are dropping off guests who need mobility accommodations. There is no handicap parking in the park.

Reimagined through the vibrant lens of Bollywood and brought to life by an international creative team, this free production bursts with music, movement, color, and delight.

About the Directors
Deshik Vansadia
Deshik Vansadia is an actor, director, and founder of The Shakespeare Company of India. His work bridges classical text and contemporary resonance, often incorporating elements of Indian mythology, music, and visual language. His recent projects include Measure for Measure, Cymbeline, and SHAKESPEARE’S LOVERS. In this production, Deshik brings a Bollywood-inspired aesthetic and mythological lens to Shakespeare’s fairy world, exploring parallels between Oberon and Hindu gods. His goal is to celebrate cultural convergence while honoring the original characters and themes of the play.
Rebecca Goodheart
Rebecca Goodheart is the Producing Artistic Director of Elm Shakespeare Company and has directed over 50 productions across the U.S. She brings a joyful, community-centered approach to Shakespeare, blending deep scholarship with a passion for outdoor theatre. For Rebecca, directing A Midsummer Night’s Dream is about creating a space of refuge, laughter, and wonder—one where audiences feel connected to each other and to the world of the play. Her vision emphasizes inclusivity, shared experience, and the joyful chaos that makes this play a timeless favorite.
